After porn on Twitter/X. The website changes its regulations
Twitter, now also known as X, is changing its rules. From now on, the website officially allows publishing pornography.
Twitter has always been open about pornographic content on its pages, but now it has decided to officially sanction it. The new regulations allow sexual photos and videos, although users who post them must remember to tag them appropriately.

The new rules of Twitter/X officially allow the publication of pornographic content. This applies to both photos and videos. This category also includes materials created using AI, as well as animated content, e.g. hentai.
We believe in the autonomy of adults to engage and create content that reflects their own beliefs, desires and experiences, including those related to sexuality. This also applies to AI-generated, photographic or animated content such as cartoons, hentai or anime.

However, pornography cannot be published arbitrarily. This type of content must be marked as sensitiveso that the social media site's filters can automatically block them for all users who do not want to see them.
It is not known how advertisers, with whom Twitter has had a problem for a long time, will react to the new regulations. Very few companies will want to promote themselves on a website that openly allows porn. On the other hand, already in 2022 there was information that Twitter was working on a competitor to OnlyFans, but the work was delayed. The new regulations may be the first step to implementing these plans.
