What will Vinci 2 tell us about?

It is worth emphasizing that The first part received considerable acclaim from critics and viewers alike. I have it high in my personal ranking of Polish films. Vinci told the story of a thief Robert “Cuma” Cumiński and his former partner Julian “Szerszeń” Paulewicz, who were commissioned to steal the painting “Lady with an Ermine”. An ingenious plot, efficient direction, and good casting of the other characters resulted in the production’s considerable success. The film stars Jan Machulski, Kamilla Baar, Marcin Dorociński, Łukasz Simlat, Jacek Król, Mieczysław Grąbka, Dorota Kolak and Marian Dziędziel. Most of these people return in the sequel. The script was written by the duo of Juliusz Machulski and Robert Więckiewicz. The former is also the director of the film.

As we read in the description provided by the Documentary and Feature Film Studio, The plot of the second part will be a direct continuation of the first. The action begins 20 years later, in 2024, when the former art thief Cuma is retiring on the Andalusian coast. However, he is visited by an old friend, fence Chudy, who proposes another heist in Poland. This time, the painting “Portrait of a Young Man” most likely plays a part in the intrigue. which was stolen from the collection of the Czartoryski Museum during World War II.
