ADATA wyciąga asa z rękawa. Nowy SSD o wydajności do 14 GB/s

ADATA pulls out an ace up its sleeve. New SSD with performance up to 14 GB/s

Are you looking for a top-performing solid-state drive? Do you want it to stay cool? No problem, the ADATA Legend 970 Pro is here to help.

Interface PCI Express 5.0 is relatively new in the consumer segment. It arrived in homes at the end of 2021 with processors Intel Core 12th Generation and platforms LGA1700.For its introduction by AMD had to wait even longer.

ADATA tempts with top performance of up to 14,000 MB/s

PCIe 5.0 offers more than PCIe 4.0 twice as high transferswhich is what graphics cards and semiconductor media use the most. And it just so happens that ADATA announced the introduction of a new, even more efficient SSD model with active cooling.

ADATA Legend 970 Pro is a semiconductor medium in the format M.2 2280which uses the interface PCI Express 5.0 x4 and the protocol NVMe 2.0. It was decided here to use a controller https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DEfJSsrInnoGrit IG5666 and unspecified 232-layer bones 3D NAND (probably from Micron) and SLC cache.

Compared to the original – the ADATA Legend 970 model that we tested at the beginning of the year – we are talking about a significant increase in efficiency. The manufacturer declares up to 14,000 MB/s for reading and up to 11,000 MB/s for sequential writing and up to 1,800,000 IOPS for read and up to 1,300,000 IOPS for random write.

The cooling system has also undergone changes. There’s still a low-profile aluminum heatsink and a small fan, but it’s now powered from the M.2 connector rather than an additional SATA cable.

The ADATA Legend 970 Pro series will include models with capacities 1, 2 and 4TB. The premiere is planned for this year, but the prices remain a secret. The manufacturer offers 5 year warranty limited by TBW limit.
