A new DnD game is being created. It will be created by a studio known for mobile productions
Gameloft, a studio known mainly for mobile productions, will create another game from the Forgotten Realms universe.
Giant the success of Baldur’s Gate III encouraged other producers to try their hand at creating video games based on DnD principles. We must clearly state that Larian studio has set a very high bar that not everyone will be able to surpass, and fans of the Forgotten Realms universe may not accept any inferior production.
Gameloft will create a DnD game
Gameloft is a studio of developers who have been creating ever since mainly mobile productions. However, computer gamers may associate this brand with Disney Dreamlight Valley, a warmly received game with characters from the Disney universe. The game has been reviewed on Steam over 14,000 times, of which 91% of the reviews are positive.
This is what Gameloft will create the next game from the Forgotten Realms universe. The studio has already concluded a contract with Hasbro, the owner of the rights to the brand. Little is known yet about Gameloft’s idea for the upcoming production; so far only one graphic has been made available, in which we can see several characters resting by the fire against the background of a majestic castle and a flying dragon.
However, it was made public that the company wanted to create a game that would be a mix of survival, simulation and action RPG with a strong emphasis on an engaging campaign. It is also known that players will move and fight in real time.
