“Śleboda” is definitely one of the most anticipated series, which premiered at the end of the year. It has just debuted on the SkyShowtime platform. This is the first original production of this platform.

“Śleboda” is a tense crime story that takes viewers to the very heart of the Tatra landscapes. It is in such a picturesque setting that the fates of the characters will intertwine. The series was based on the first part of the popular series of ethno-crime stories by Małgorzata Fugiel-Kuźmińska and Michał Kuźmiński. Michał Gazda and Bartosz Blaschke are responsible for directing.
“Śleboda” – what is the series about?
The action of the crime story takes place in Podhale. “Śleboda” tells the story of Anka Serafin, a young anthropologist from Krakow (played by Maria Dębska), who goes to the mountains in search of herself. It wouldn’t be a suspenseful crime story if it weren’t for the fact that a woman accidentally discovers a corpse. The heroine quickly becomes involved in solving a murder mystery, and her fate is inextricably intertwined with Bastian Strzygoń (Maciej Musiał), a daring journalist looking for sensation, and Jędrek Chowaniec (Piotr Pacek), a local policeman with whom they had a crush as teenagers.
