A giant not a monitor. It's ideal for flying and driving simulators

We had the opportunity to take a look at the latest Acer Predator monitors, which will go on sale in the coming weeks. The Taiwanese positively surprise.

Last weekend we had the opportunity to host an event in Katowice Intel Extreme Masters 2024. We are talking about the largest e-sports event in this part of Europe, which focuses on championship competitions in titles such as StarCraft II and Counter-Strike 2but also hardware news.

The new Predator monitors will go on sale in Q2 2024

He turned out to be one of the better prepared producers Acer. The Taiwanese had, both at their stand and in the rooms reserved for the press, really interesting equipment, previously only shown at fairs. CES 2024 in Las Vegas (USA) in early January.

The Taiwanese placed the greatest emphasis on laptops and monitors aimed at gamers in grams of the brand Predator. He caught our editorial attention in particular Predator Z57i.e. a 57-inch, curved (1000R) monitor with a matrix Mini LED about resolution 7680 x 2160 pixels at refresh rate up to 120 Hz.

Additionally, we are talking about proportions 32:9brightness up to 1000 nits and as many as 2304 illumination zones. The monitor will go on sale in Poland in the second quarter of 2024. However, the price is quite high – PLN 10,599. However, we are talking about a real giant using the latest technologies.

Of course, there were also smaller models with equally spectacular specifications. For example Predator X34 V3 is a 34-inch curved (1500R) monitor with resolution 3440 x 1440 pixels and refresh rate up to 180 Hz. The whole thing is complemented only by the reaction time 1 ms and 94% coverage of the DCI-P3 color palette. The suggested price is also much more affordable and amounts to PLN 3,699.

In the end we are left with Acer Predator X39 and Predator X34 i.e. monitors using matrices OLED. Each of them offers resolution UWQHD (3440 x1440 pixels) with refresh rate up to 240 Hz and reaction time 0.01 ms. The premiere in Poland is planned again for the second quarter of 2024, and the expected prices are as follows 6,499 and 5,699 PLN.
