ZUS urgently reminds us. He didn’t make that mistake
ZUS would like to remind you about an important change that took place on January 1, 2026. Making this mistake could prove crucial.
In the latest announcement, the Social Insurance Institution reminds about the change that took place on January 1, 2026. Since the beginning of the year, natural persons, companies and non-public entities can no longer use the ePUAP account for correspondence with ZUS. Letters sent in this way are not considered to have been effectively filed or delivered, although this was possible until the end of 2025.
From January 1 this year, this form of correspondence ceases to have legal consequences equivalent to delivery using the public electronic registered delivery service.
So what should you do? At this point, we can send letters to ZUS in electronic form in two ways. The first is address for electronic delivery (eDelivery). The second option is to use PUE/eZUS portal. This is the only way to be sure that the document will be submitted properly.
