Yesterday we informed you that NVIDIA is preparing to premiere a new graphics card. However, this is not about the GeForce RTX 6000 series. Instead, the cheapest model of the current generation will be refreshed, i.e. GeForce RTX 5050. It will have 9 GB of GDDR7 memory on a 96-bit data bus, instead of the current 8 GB GDDR6 on a 128-bit bus.
The difference in games will be small – it’s only 5% more bandwidth

Will the new GeForce RTX 5050 be better than the old one? It’s hard to say in the dark – the difference in games will be rather symbolic. However, there may be a problem with independent tests for the premiere, because when the original was released, NVIDIA did not send any copies to the editors and YouTubers.
