Samsung Galaxy extends its coverage with satellites. Poland is not on the list

The new feature will be available on the latest models in the series Galaxy S26 and v selected older flagships and devices from the Galaxy A series. The manufacturer has established cooperation with telecommunications operators in… Europe, North America and Japan.

This solution is intended to provide access to communication in emergency situations and transmitting data where traditional masts cannot reach. Samsung has been implementing these systems since 2025, treating them as an important element of the infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence.

In Europe, the service will be made available in cooperation with the company Virgin Media O2. Tests with the operator will begin in March 2026 MasOrange in Spain.

Samsung also works with Vodafoneto allow access to satellite functions to additional groups of users. The services will include sending text messages and data in locations without a standard GSM signal.

For now, there is no question of cooperation with operators operating in Poland.

In the United States, users of older models from the Galaxy S21 series can use the solutions T-Mobile and Starlink. Verizon provides function eSOS for models newer than Galaxy S25, and work is also underway to implement the system in the network AT&T.

In Japan, the system was integrated with earthquake and tsunami warnings. From 2026, operators will join the project SoftBank and docomowhich will allow coverage of more devices in this market.

On February 25, 2026, it launched pre-sale of the latest Samsung smartphones from the Galaxy S26 serieswhich will last until March 10. We have three models to choose from in different memory configurations and colors.
