Lyria 3 also processes uploaded files. The user can add to the application photo, text document, PDF file or presentation slide. Artificial intelligence analyzes their content. The system then arranges the matching lyrics and composes the song.

The application creates songs 30 seconds long. They receive unique covers created by the Nano Banana image generator. The finished recording can be downloaded to the device’s memory or shared with friends via a link.

Google offers the same model to creators on the YouTube platform. Function named Dream Track goes to people outside the United States. It makes it easier to create soundtracks for short videos in the Shorts section.

The third generation of the Lyria model introduces several changes. The system generates song lyrics on its own. The user gains control over the tempo of the song, vocal style and sound. Compositions have gained higher quality than in previous test versions.

All generated recordings contain a built-in watermark SynthID. It is inaudible to the human ear. The Gemini application has gained the function of verifying such files. After uploading the audio file, artificial intelligence checks the presence of the mark and determines its origin.

The creators of the algorithm implemented copyright protection locks. The system prevents copying the style of famous artists. Entering the musician’s name in the command causes the algorithm to treat it only as a reference point for creating something new.

The company shared Tools for reporting copyright and privacy violations. Users who violate the service regulations may face consequences. Google representatives point out that their tool will not replace real artists, but is intended only as an additional form of expression.
