YouTube takes that away from users. From now on only in the Premium version

If you want YouTube Music to display the lyrics, you have to pay. Google is making a change that limits this feature to Premium users only.

From now on, people using the free version of YouTube and YouTube Music can view the lyrics to a maximum of 5 songs. After using up the limit, they will only see the first few lines of text on subsequent songs. The rest will be blurred.

Additionally, a message will be displayed above the subtitles at all times informing about the number of remaining free views and the possibility of unlocking the subtitles in the Premium version.
